Rethinking Manuka Honey

New Zealand–based Manukora wanted to focus more on the growing health and wellness market in the United States. They were already thinking of creating new products, so we tapped into the minds of their new audience through consumer research to determine what would be of most value to them. New formulas incorporating herbs like ginseng, echinacea, and ashwagandha were the result. Named Manukora Botanicals, the branding and packaging were developed in tandem with the products themselves. Leveraging Manukora’s ethical practices, we emphasized simplicity and transparency of the ingredients.

An extension of the Manukora brand, we named the new line Botanicals as a nod to the infusion of manuka honey with potent medicinal ingredients. Our packaging approach emphasized transparency in ingredients and included a label system to help consumers easily understand the product.
