Royal Botanical Gardens

Growing a Deeper Connection with Canada's Largest Botanical Gardens

As Canada's largest botanical gardens and a designated National Historic Site, Royal Botanical Gardens is a landmark institution spanning more than 1,000 hectares, five distinct garden areas, and 27 kilometres of trails. Over the decades, it evolved far beyond its origins into a year-round destination, from educational programming to seasonal festivals and concerts. Yet while the organization had grown and a younger generation of visitors looked to connect with it, the gap between its identity and its ambition continued to widen, resulting in a fragmented and outdated presence. Partnering with BB&Co, we engaged stakeholders across the organization to realign the brand, uncovering qualities of RBG that had yet to be told. The result was a comprehensive brand transformation and adaptable identity system designed to scale across every touchpoint.
